Thanks to the collaboration of the Molentargius-Saline Regional Natural Park and the students of the course in Systematics and Plant Phylogeny held by Gianluigi Bacchetta and tutor Marco Porceddu for the degree course in Environmental and Natural Sciences at the University of Cagliari, yesterday there was the eradication action of the Carpobrotus sp.
It is an invasive alien species of coastal environments, one of the most dangerous for plant biodiversity in the Mediterranean, originally from South Africa but now widespread in numerous our coastal environments.
