On November 29th, students of the “Giuseppe Garibaldi” High School in La Maddalena had the opportunity to delve deeper into the themes of our project during a seminar dedicated to environmental education.
During the meeting, the teams of the Centro Conservazione Biodiversità (CCB) and the Banca del Germoplasma della Sardegna (BG-SAR), in collaboration with the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park, presented a general overview of LIFE SEEDFORCE and of the ex situ and in situ conservation initiatives currently underway at the regional level.
Particular attention was paid to interventions to safeguard the 𝙇𝙞𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙪𝙢 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙢𝙪𝙢, an endemic species to Corsica and Sardinia, whose presence in Italy is limited exclusively to the island of Caprera.
