On the occasion of today’s World Biodiversity Day, a short while ago Stefano Raimondi of Legambiente’s Scientific Office and Luciano Di Martino, director of the Maiella National Park, spoke on Speciale Tg1 highlighting the richness of Italy’s natural heritage and the urgency of concrete actions for its protection.
During the in-depth study, the two experts discussed the importance of biodiversity conservation, with particular attention to the world of wild orchids. Our project was given full attention, dedicated to the protection of plant species at risk of extinction, including two very rare native orchids, 𝙃𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙢 𝙖𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙢 and 𝙇𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙨 𝙡𝙤𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙞𝙣.
