SEEDFORCE at Valencia for 4th MPCW

The fourth edition of the “Mediterranean Plant Conservation Week” (4th MPCW) ended last Friday in Valencia, a conference that brings together researchers and managers involved in the conservation of wild plants and their habitats in the Mediterranean.

This fourth edition constituted a meeting point in which different opinions and experiences from different fields of knowledge converged, thanks to the participation of experts in plant conservation and ecological restoration, all aware that the ultimate objective of saving plants it is not possible without the full recovery of the ecological functions of the site.

The Valencia week was an opportunity to showcase research results and experiences in the form of oral and poster presentations, not only in the field of plant or ecological sciences but also on the relationships between the public and the world of plant conservation (plant science citizens, ethnobotany, local involvement, bottom-up initiatives, local varieties, etc.).

Our project was there too, presented by Genmeda and represented by numerous of our partners who shared their research, collected and now available here:
