Many of the plant species our project aims to protect are found in inaccessible and hard-to-reach places, such as cliffs, rock faces, and extreme habitats, both in the mountains and coastal environments.
To ensure the safety of the botanical technicians of the LIFE SEEDFORCE Project, thanks to the contribution of the Maiella National Park, a project partner and already expert in these issues, a specific course for operators of access and positioning systems using ropes on natural sites was organized in collaboration with the ESE CPT L’AQUILA Construction School – KONG Training Center.
During four intense days of theoretical and practical training in the picturesque Santo Spirito Valley in the municipality of Roccamorice (PE), eight technicians attended lessons and exercises coordinated by mountain guides and instructors from the Kong Training Center, using all the required personal protective equipment.
