in Sardinia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In recent days, the Biodiversity Conservation Center (CCB) and the Sardinian Germplasm Bank (BG-SAR), in collaboration with the staff of the Molentargius-Saline Regional Natural Park, have carried out an important monitoring activity in the dune system on the edge of the Quartu Sant&#8217;Elena salt pans.<\/p>\n\n<p>In the affected area, already equipped with biodegradable bionets to combat erosion, we intervened with the eradication of the Hottentot fig (\ud835\ude0a\ud835\ude22\ud835\ude33\ud835\ude31\ud835\ude30\ud835\ude23\ud835\ude33\ud835\ude30\ud835\ude35\ud835\ude36\ud835\ude34 \ud835\ude34\ud835\ude31.), an invasive alien species that was compromising the same habitat as \ud835\ude47\ud835\ude5e\ud835\ude63\ud835\ude56\ud835\ude67\ud835\ude5e\ud835\ude56 \ud835\ude5b\ud835\ude61\ud835\ude56\ud835\ude6b\ud835\ude56 \ud835\ude68\ud835\ude6a\ud835\ude57\ud835\ude68\ud835\ude65. \ud835\ude68\ud835\ude56\ud835\ude67\ud835\ude59\ud835\ude64\ud835\ude56, an endemic Sardinian-Corsican plant, internationally threatened and protected by the Habitats Directive 92\/43\/EEC.<\/p>\n\n<p>The activities carried out as part of our project are aimed at promoting the natural recolonization of native vegetation and supporting the conservation of \ud835\ude47\ud835\ude5e\ud835\ude63\ud835\ude56\ud835\ude67\ud835\ude5e\ud835\ude56 \ud835\ude5b\ud835\ude61\ud835\ude56\ud835\ude6b\ud835\ude56 \ud835\ude68\ud835\ude6a\ud835\ude57\ud835\ude68\ud835\ude65. \ud835\ude68\ud835\ude56\ud835\ude67\ud835\ude59\ud835\ude64\ud835\ude56, contributing to the protection of a dune ecosystem of high naturalistic value.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-1 wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img
