We share a story that is a perfect example of how biodiversity awareness and environmental education are critical to protecting endangered species. The discovery of 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙖𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙜𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙖 orchids, a rare and endangered species, in the garden of the Lucca school, not only led to their protection, but also actively involved the students in a conservation project.
