First traslocation of 𝙎𝙖𝙭𝙞𝙛𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙖 𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙨 at Valvestino

The first translocation of 𝙎𝙖𝙭𝙞𝙛𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙖 𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙨 was carried out on Tuesday 20 May in the ZSC IT2070021 Valvestino, in the Alto Garda Bresciano area.

Thanks to the intervention of operators specialized in rock face work, over 160 plants were planted, divided into three different locations. In one of these, near Cortina at 1,750 meters above sea level, the action took on the value of a real reintroduction, since the local population had become extinct following a recent fire.
