𝙇𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙨 𝙡𝙤𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙞 first reintroduction by CFA

The Centro Flora Autoctona is planning the first SEEDFORCE reintroduction of 𝙇𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙨 𝙡𝙤𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙞 into nature within the SIC IT2030005 – Palude di Brivio.

Site preparation is almost complete and the wetland habitat appears to have improved so much that it is encouraging the regrowth of other orchids that had not been observed on the site for several years, such as the locally rare 𝘈𝘯𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘢𝘹𝘪𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘢.

In addition to the orchid, some small colonies of sphagnum or peat moss (𝘚𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘨𝘯𝘶𝘮 𝘴𝘱. – not determinable at this stage) detected last September have also reappeared.
