The πππ‘ππͺπ’ π‘ππ©π€π§ππ‘π plants experimentally translocated last November to the target site within the Selinunte Archaeological Park successfully passed the test phase. After summer dormancyβa particularly critical time for the speciesβthe specimens resumed growth, confirming the validity of the adopted procedure. In late spring, the same plants also flowered, a further sign of their good adaptation. In short, the test was passed with flying colors: the final translocation phase will soon begin, with approximately 500 specimens already ready and others in the process of propagation.
