𝙂𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙪𝙢 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙚 in Selinunte

The 𝙂𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙪𝙢 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙚 plants experimentally translocated last November to the target site within the Selinunte Archaeological Park successfully passed the test phase. After summer dormancy—a particularly critical time for the species—the specimens resumed growth, confirming the validity of the adopted procedure. In late spring, the same plants also flowered, a further sign of their good adaptation. In short, the test was passed with flying colors: the final translocation phase will soon begin, with approximately 500 specimens already ready and others in the process of propagation.
