Last Wednesday, the MUSE team traveled to Val Lorina, an Alpine valley on the border between Lombardy and Trentino, to verify the results of the first experimental translocation of 15 individuals of Adenophora lilifolia, carried out in May 2025. Although some specimens were browsed by ungulates, most successfully survived the first phase after the translocation, and some even managed to flower.
Furthermore, during the day, a second experimental translocation of another 15 individuals was carried out, with the aim of testing the effectiveness of reintroducing this species into a protected area where, until May, it was considered extinct.
